IL December 2010 Cooking Day

The Illinois ladies had another awesome cooking day today. We made about 3 dozen Pecan Snowball cookies (just place, bake and dust on powdered sugar), 32 Taco Tartlets, a Beer Bread mix, a M&M cookie mix and two Pizza Dip mixes. Each. For around $42 (total) and 3 hours of work.

When the moms weren't looking, the baby kept stealing taco tartlets!

She loved them!

We are a group of moms who get together about once a month or so to cook Meals Made Ahead.

Meals Made Ahead are great because it's nice to always have something in the freezer for those nights that are busy, those nights when you can't think of anything to make, those nights when you have nothing to cook with because you didn't feel like dragging two screaming kids through the grocery store, those nights when you just don't feel like cooking.

Sure, we could do this on our own. But it's much more fun to cook with friends (and share the clean up!)
