Beer Bread

3 c flour
3 t. baking powder (omit if using self rising flour)
1 t salt (omit if using self rising flour
1/4 c. sugar
1 (12oz) can beer
1/2 c melted butter (Tristy uses 1/4 c)

1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees
2. mix dry ingredients with beer
3. Pour into greased loaf pan
4. Pour melted butter over top and bake 1 hour
5. Let cool in pan for 15 min. before removing

  1. This is my FAVORITE Beer Bread recipe. It is nice and crunchy on the top and sides and makes a nice, big loaf!
