WI Chapter of MMA
It has been a while since I have had the pleasure of doing Freezer Co-op since our move last summer. While I have been dreaming of the ease of pulling a meal from the freezer on those busy, busy days where nothing seems to be going as planned, I probably still would not have had the motiviation to start another group if it hadn't been for my two sister-in-laws and a friend asking me about it. This is all the prompting I needed to start a new chapter in Slinger, Wisconsin. Lisa has been gracious enough to invite our new group to share great recipes, cooking experiences, and this most excellent Blog!
Below are introductions to the three ladies who will be joining me in the Wisconsin Chapter of Meals Made Ahead:
Jackie (SIL #1) is a 41 year old Teacher's Aid with three AWESOME kids, ages 20, 15, and 10. Being the busy mom she is, she has been talking about doing a freezer co-op with me months and months before I actually moved from Illinios.
Christina (SIL #2) is a 32 year old Correctional Officer (I think this is the proper title, anyway) with three AWESOME kids, ages 5, 3, and 1 and is also expecting baby number four this spring. I say four kids takes freezer co-op from a convenience to a necessity!
And last, but not least, is Mary, a 30 year old Distribution Shipping Coordinator/Assistant Inventory Manager and part-time Bank Teller. with one AWESOME son, age 7. She is one rockin' cook! (she is our Lisa!)
I am so excited for our very first cooking day and to chat it up on MMA!
