February 2010 Cooking Day

I'm happy to report that today's cooking session went a lot smoother than last time.

We made:
Italian Cirtus Marinade (2 bags of marinade each to add our own chicken or pork at home)
Simple Salisbury Steaks (1 meal)
Basic Meatballs (62 meatballs!)
Pasta with Herb Sauce (1 side dish, serves 4-6)
French Toast (1 loaf of bread each)

Make sure to check out the recipes for the Meatballs and the Pasta with Herb Sauce. Pictures and nutritional info were added for both. I can't promise that every recipe will get nutritional info in the future, but it's something I want to work on.

We spent only $14.17 a piece! Woo hoo! That more than makes up for last month.

We will cook again in exactly one month, on March 23rd. Stay tuned for the menu.

  1. Wowza! I want to do this with some of my friends here in Madison. What a great idea.

  2. Anna- if you can find a good group of friends to work with, it's totally worth it. I just made a new page where I compiled my little series of posts about how it works for us. Check it out over there in the side bar. --->
