March Cooking Day

Cooking Day was a huge success! Everyone was on time so we could get started right away. We made 3 dinners and a breakfast item for each of our four families in under 3 hours. We also set out date, time and menu for next month. And we still had time to chit chat, which you know we love to do!

Our cost per person came to. . . $23.96! Woo hoo!

If you're new to the concept of freezer cooking, you may be wondering how we are able to accomplish all of this. Over the next couple days, I will try to post some information about how we make this all work.

For now, here are some picture I took today. I will also add photos of the meals we cooked in the original recipes' posts. As a reminder, we made Creamy Peanut Chicken, Tristy's Mac & Cheese, Turkey & Artichoke Stuffed Shells, and Sausage Biscuits.

Creamy Peanut Chicken is ready to be packaged together and frozen.

Trays of Sausage Biscuits are cooling.

Tristy's Mac & Cheese. Yummy!

One of the tables is full of kitchen supplies (and a toy guitar!)

Finally! Someone else does the dishes in my house!
